Presentation + Q&A: Space, Sound & Jewish Architecture with Ilana Razbash
Event description
From the thunderous revelation at Sinai to whispered prophecy, communal song, and an architectural legacy stretching from pre-antiquity to today, this talk explores how 4,000 years of Jewish tradition has been rooted in listening, music-making, and the pursuit of great sound. Together, we’ll trace the profound relationship between acoustics, memory, spirituality, art and built architectural form. Prepare to rediscover Jewish architecture not only as something we see, but as something we hear and feel.
