Tom came to the Festival and played to packed audiences until his voice gave out on the Sunday (and if you have heard his voice, you would know why.) He is one of the absolute best shanty singers in the world and has a history as a sub marina and sailor.
So much does he love the water (except for drinking it) that for years he and his wife Lyn have lived on a canal boat and moved around Britain’s inland waterways
