Illuminate 2.0 Imbedding Visual Art in the Primary School Classroom Workshop
Event description
This workshop is a response to a very clear need for help for primary and early childhood teachers who, as classroom generalist teachers, who often have little or no background in The Arts. This workshop focusses on Visual Art and aims to give participants a set of skills, strategies and techniques to implement the Visual Art curriculum with minimum stress and maximum enjoyment! No experience required!
There will be lots of practical art- in a context of pure fun! Core information on both making and responding tasks, logistics to make sessions run smoothly and effectively, a handy ‘go’ to folder of key knowledge, product information and demystifying curriculum and assessment AND a box of real art goodies selected to underpin ongoing development of teachers’ skills and confidence.
Additionally, participants are encouraged to request anything they would like to see included in the workshop as soon as possible so it can be addressed.
