illuminate Pitch Day

What The illuminate Community Challenge is all about.

• Look at new ways for young people to connect innovative approaches to community challenges.
• Explore innovation approaches, problem-solving skills, and measuring impact focusing on personal and skill development..
• Learn from industry experts, with real-world knowledge and experience.
• Design bold and creative solutions in a team-based challenge.
• Build an understanding of finance, marketing, public speaking, and strategy to present viable solutions.
• Grow skills including perseverance, collaboration, design thinking, creativity, presentation skills and much more!

By the end of the challenges, teams will present novel solutions to current challenges, with financial forecasts, business strategies, marketing materials, prototypes and a pitch for investment – with all of the skills developed and introduced in the week if students have never been part of a design process, business program or community impact immersion.
