Throughout March, we're dedicated to educating the public about epilepsy, recognising that it's not just a medical condition but a life-altering challenge affecting every aspect of an individual's life. Epilepsy Action Australia works collaboratively with patients, their support networks, healthcare professionals, suppliers, and all layers of government to make a difference.

Each year our Purple Day campaign spans social media, community activities, corporate engagement, and culminates in our annual gala event - the "Illuminating Hope" event. Last year's success was made possible by the generosity of our supporters on the night, corporate sponsors, and educational grants.

Funds raised through Purple Day will power critical research and programs, including vital support to those living with epilepsy and their families provided by our team of specialist Epilepsy Nurses.

"Illuminating Hope" is more than an event; it's our beacon of hope for the 250,000 Australians fighting epilepsy. We aim to raise much needed funds for Epilepsy Action Australia and educate hundreds of thousands leading up to the event, but we need your support to reach this goal.
