It will cover the key responsibilities, skills, and professional etiquette expected in the industry, providing students with an outline of how to assist professional photographers. This is a fabulous opportunity to meet some highly skilled and successful industry professionals, learn some tips and mingle with your peers.

2. The Role of a Photography Assistant

An overview of the responsibilities and duties of a photography assistant.

3. Essential Skills and Tools

Discussion on the essential skills needed (e.g., lighting, equipment handling, organisational skills).
Overview & Demonstration of common tools and equipment used in photography shoots.

4. Professional Etiquette and Communication

Importance of professionalism and effective communication on set.
Tips for working efficiently with photographers and clients.

5. Q&A Session

Time for students to ask questions and seek advice.
