Imago Spiritual Formation Conference

Imago seeks to impart the importance of spiritual formation from spiritually mature Christians to spiritually maturing Christians. Our teachings focus on the pivotal role of the Spirit in our transformation, guiding us to become more like Christ. 

Our theme this year is Work

Our work or our vocation makes up so much of our lives. Whether you're starting or established in your career, balancing family with work or figuring out where to focus your energy, we all have roles that dominate our time, energy, and mind.

We want to speak this year about spiritual formation in our vocational lives. From Monday through Friday. To help one another discern what God would have us do in our day-to-day lives. What He would have us join Him in restoring, building and reestablishing. 

It is undeniable that our culture is searching for a method to live, and work is our most dominant cultural teacher to that end. 

We have a vision for the Church to be the epicentre of its communities. To demonstrate and teach, or, as Paul challenges, ‘live such good lives’ in whatever we do throughout the week. The challenge is that this starts outside of our buildings, demonstrating day-to-day full living, because it is our workplaces and homes that really are our ministries. 

Spiritual Formation is not about more time-taxing tasks in already busy days, but instead directing the things of life we already do, to allow us to ‘remain with Him.’
