IMAS Taroona Transformation: Community Drop In

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

The University of Tasmania is transforming the existing Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) site at Taroona into a world-class fisheries and aquaculture research and teaching precinct.

Work is underway from April onwards to build new specialised facilities including teaching and research labs supporting students and scientists to protect threatened species, solve local environmental issues and ensure sustainable wild capture fisheries and aquaculture industries.

Join a community drop-in session with the project team to check out the plans, construction timelines and chat through what will be happening around the site.

For ongoing project updates, these sessions will be run regularly throughout the development. You can also visit the Taroona IMAS Transformation website.
