Independent Mental Health Advocacy is delivering an online workshop on rights and self-advocacy for consumers of mental health and wellbeing services and their supporters. This workshop is specifically for older people or those caring for an older person. The workshop covers your rights under the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 as well as IMHA’s 6-step self-advocacy model

In an hour workshop, you will be able to learn about:

your rights under the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022)
how to use IMHA’s 6-step self-advocacy model to speak up for what you want
where to go to find support to speak up for what you want.
