IMPACCT Research Higher Degree Information Evening
Event description
Have you thought you might like to do a PhD in Palliative, Aged or Chronic Care?
You might not be sure what it involves, what opportunities it brings or how feasible it is, especially if you want to continue with your current work role alongside of your PhD studies. You might be a clinician interested in research who hasn't really considered doing a PhD, and you might like to hear how a PhD might support accelerating the research work you are already planning.
This is the information session for you.
You will meet IMPACCT current and newly graduated PhD students from a range of disciplines and backgrounds to hear about the research they are doing and the impact their work has had on clinical care and policy. Together with our team of researchers, we will de-bunk some of the myths of doing a PhD and explain how a PhD can be done to suit your circumstances.
IMPACCT (Improving Palliative, Aged and Chronic Care through Clinical Research and Translation) at UTS is a Research Centre focusing on interdisciplinary collaborative research optimising the health and wellbeing of individuals living with life-limiting illness and their families.
