Impact 100 SA - invitation for theme announcement event

Each year we look forward to the first major event on the Impact100 SA calendar - the announcement of the Grant Awards’ themes for that year.

Last year we gave away $270,000 in grants to four amazing, local not-for-profits making a difference in our community, and as we prepare to do it all over again in 2022, members are invited to a special event for the official announcement of the 2022 grant themes.

This year as well as announcing our themes, we are excited that we are able to offer members the exclusive opportunity to attend a private screening of a yet to be released film at Mercury Cinemas, 13 Morphett Street Adelaide on Thursday 3 February 2022 from 5.30-8.00pm, thanks to our Impact100 SA member Gail Fuller.

Hosted by Mercury CX, the home of independent cinema, and Dancing Road, a wholly owned South Australian company, members will be able see Dancing Road’s latest feature film in its current stage of post-production, prior to its global release by a major studio in 2022.

Due to the highly confidential nature of film in this stage of post-production, all we can tell you is that it is a compelling environmental thriller shot entirely on location in South Australia and will be rated (M).

Following the 90 minute film screening, there will be a unique opportunity to gain firsthand information on the film making process and to meet with the South Australian film makers , director and editor Sean Lahiff and producers Gena Ashwell and Helen Leake AM at the post screening Q & A.
