Impact
Event description
Impact explores our responses to the climate emergency and how we can act, find hope, create beauty, learn from each other and share ideas for change. It invites audiences to experience a performative world built on circus, dance, theatre, imagery and everything in between.
The work has been developed collaboratively by a cast of professional and emerging artists with a focus on highlighting voices that are not always heard. Particular influence has come from First Nations writers who have shared knowledge and contributed poetic responses to climate change along with Pasifika climate activists and musicians who have shared their voices on the pressing and dire consequences the climate crisis is presenting to those living in Pacific Island nations.
Come and join the Vulcana community for three nights only and witness a work tackling one the most important issues facing us all today.
