Impact Hour - Jacqui Malins

This is a new monthly event, presented by SEE Change, Conservation Council ACT Region and Canberra Environment Centre.

This month: Jacqui Malins - art and activism

Jacqui will present a 30 minute talk, followed by Q&A and general networking.

The Dissent kitchen will be open.

Jacqui Malins is a writer, performer and visual artist based on Ngunawal and Ngambri country, aka Canberra. Her projects often incorporate visual media, text and performance. Jacqui has made work about Tasmania’s industrial and environmental history, ecological amnesia and grief in response to the loss of native shellfish reefs, and her personal reckoning with the climate crisis. She has also engaged with community action through her Postcard Petition and Poetography Booth.
