Scaling Impact Online Workshop: the Impact Investment Readiness Journey
Event description
Is your social enterprise looking to take on impact investment in the future?Â
Do you have what it takes to become investment-ready?
Is impact investment right for you?Â
These are three big questions commonly faced by high growth social enterprises looking to raise capital and scale their impact. With the new year comes new opportunities including this opportunity to learn about how to get your business ready for impact investment.Â
Presented by Social Impact Hub, you’ll leave this 2 hour online workshop with:
- A clear understanding of the impact investment landscape, the types of impact capital available and the nature of this capital
- An appreciation of the motivations of impact investors, and how different investors view the maximisation of impact and financial return
- An assessment of your impact investment readiness and identification of the areas where you still need work
About the Workshop
The online workshop will be a practical, insight-filled session for social enterprises and purpose-driven businesses with their eye on impact investment. You will have the opportunity to use the Social Impact Hub’s Impact Investment Readiness Diagnostic Tool, developed with the support of the English Family Foundation. This will assess your organisation’s impact investment readiness in ten different areas and identify what you need to work on in order to successfully secure investment. At the end of this workshop, you will learn about our upcoming Scaling Impact accelerator program focused on impact investment readiness starting in May 2021.
