The next Impact Lunch will be held Friday 18 November from noon...

This is a chance to connect with others in a cross sector way while also enjoying great food.

At this lunch we will connect and share food and hear from one or two about their initiatives.

Since early 2018 have hosted and curated more than 15 “Seeds Impact Lunches: Connecting dots” gathering people doing good things in Ōtautahi Christchurch together every two months or so. The $20 cost will cover the amazing lunch and you get a chance to network and meet others pushing boundaries in their own unique ways across disciplines.

Please email me any dietary requirements to stevenmoe@parryfield.com - it will be vegan.

A story of impact, fun to hear!: “At an impact lunch I sat next to am amazing young woman called Bel. We got to talking, shared their stories and decided to share their details. The following weekend we bumped into each other at a charity event and talked about seeing if we could work together on something. Bel was one of the first people I contacted after the events of the 15th of March when I was feeling compelled to make something of an idea for an initiative I had which is now called ‘Giving Seeds of Love’. Since then we have worked together on many aspects of the initiative from setting up the core values, running a workshop for Jane Goodall, handing out Seeded hearts alongside Who is Hussain? at the second school strike for climate, running a workshop and soccer skills session at Al Noor Mosque, to helping at the botanic gardens in order to get the plastic wrappers for the unity artwork. Giving Seeds of Love is a testament to the opportunities that the work that Steven and the Seeds Impact lunches has and what can grow from them.”

Comment by Lan Pham: Thanks so much again for such a wonderful evening with such a great mix of inspiring people! I can honestly say I didn’t know what to expect from the event but I left feeling inspired, re-energised and hopeful for the future (for so many various reasons thanks to the various people I met!). I felt your framing and questions of the evening set it up so well – thank you for the obvious time thought and energy you put into the evening.

And from Jemma Penelope: Thanks for encouraging me along to the dinner. I had a really great time. Aside from the truly brilliant food, I felt the event was special because everyone was so willing to talk about making a change and doing good things and dreaming big dreams. Everyone was so welcoming. It was much easier than a business networking event where you almost feel like ‘on show’. Your event had a beautiful genuine atmosphere which was wonderful. I look forward to the next one!
