Impact of Digital Accessibility Training: Lived Experience
Event description
This training session will raise awareness and empathy in relation to the impact on people (the end user) when choosing to create or not to create accessible digital environments.
Factoring in and embedding accessibility into our project management practices and our software development lifecycle is essential to ensure our colleagues, stakeholders, customers, service users and candidates with disability can access sites, apps, platforms, and online/digital content.
This session will raise awareness of people’s lived experience through real-life examples and case studies, virtual and in person demonstrations and conversations, video clips and use of digital simulation tools and assistive technologies.
