Impact100 Canterbury Breakfast Panel
Description
What are the biggest challenges women and children are facing in our community today, and how do we overcome them?
Impact100 Canterbury invites local wāhine to join us for bites and insights from three non-profit professionals who’ll share what they’re seeing, learning and doing to support women and children across Canterbury.
Chances are you know a woman who has faced challenges simply because she’s a woman. Perhaps that woman is you. Even when it comes to philanthropy and funding, women haven’t always had a seat at the table, which is part of what makes Impact100 Canterbury so unique: it’s a model designed by women, for women, to pool our resources and support other women and whānau in our community.
Our Annual Impact100 Canterbury Breakfast Panel, facilitated by our fabulous ambassador Nicola Toki, will explore the challenges facing women and children in Canterbury today, and what local organisations are doing to address them. It’s also a chance to connect with wāhine from across our community and hear different perspectives from people who care about making a difference. You never know who you’ll meet at an Impact100 event, or where the conversation might lead.
Entry to the panel is free, however we warmly encourage you to make a $10 koha to support our three participating charities. Please note that donations are non-refundable.
And if you’ve ever wondered what it could look like to pool your giving with other local women and collectively decide where your money can make an impact, we have excellent news for you.
Memberships are now open for the 2027 giving cycle. Sign up, reach out or find out more here: https://www.kuratawhiticcf.org.nz/impact100
Come for breakfast, bring a friend or two, and meet the community to get a feel for what Impact100 Canterbury is all about.
