Impact100 Sydney Meet our 2024 Grant Recipient
Event description
Join us at Canva on March 19th for an interactive session with Bandu's founders Edward Morgan and Aidan Porter. As a majority First Nations-led social enterprise, Bandu has grown from supporting 15 to over 75 young First Nations people in just two years.
Impact100 Sydney's $100,000 grant enables Bandu to expand their mentoring team to deliver tailored support to participants. The funding also covers essential expenses like transport, accommodation, work attire and documentation - practical barriers that often prevent First Nations students from pursuing their educational and career goals.
This intimate gathering provides the opportunity to engage directly with Edward and Aidan about their progress. Learn how they're implementing the grant, connecting students with targeted study and work placements, and addressing challenges along the way. Share in their successes and understand how collective giving creates lasting impact in our community.
We thank Canva for hosting this important conversation.
