    Event description

Accelerate Your Great Idea to the Marketplace by joining the IMPACT10X AI SIMULATOR Opportunity (Cohort #28)

The JCU Graduate Research School and Queensland AI HUBS are offering the opportunity for regional and rural inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs  to learn how to bring their great idea to reality.  The IMPACT10X AI Simulator enables candidates to develop critical thinking, marketing and business intelligence skills to open new career and business development possibilities.  This will be the third year the Simulator has run, and candidates from past years have already had considerable success in turning their ideas into commercially viable products (see attached testimonials).

You will be able to choose either to work on your own idea, explore an industry challenge or even create a start-up over three days, with the opportunity to pitch your idea to potential investors and to continue the innovation journey beyond the Simulator and join our JCU Founders-in-Residence Portfolio.

This three-day intensive will be facilitated by the GRS’s Dr Samantha Horseman.

    • Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 25-27 June 2024,
    • Mode: in person – JCU Townsville Campus
    • Location: Engineering & Innovation Place
    • Time: 9am to 4pm

Participants attend in person at JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas.  The Simulator alternates between Townsville and Cairns, and this year it is Townsville’s turn. In 2025 it will run again in Cairns. Join us for this potentially life- and career-changing event.
