Imperfectly Sustainable Organic Gardening: Worm Farming for Healthy Soil

Join us at the Coal Loader for a six-part hands-on workshop series with Sydney Organic Gardens. Across six Saturdays from July 2026 to December 2026, you’ll learn practical skills to grow food at home, no matter your space.

Come along to one, or the whole series, and get inspired to make your garden more productive, sustainable and full of life.

This month is Worm Farming for Healthy Soil:

Turn your kitchen and garden scraps into beautiful rich soil food.  Learn the tips and tricks of how to manage your home worm farm.

At this workshop you will learn:

·       The essential basics of worm farming

·       A range of different worm farms

·       How to create high quality worm castings

·       How to use the finished product in your garden to best effect

It’s a hands-on workshop including making a worm farm from scratch, and learning as you go, with plenty of time for you to ask questions.  Please bring some kitchen and/or garden scraps.

Booking essential – limited to 20 places for each group only.

Cost: $0 to take part however ONLY book if you can make it.

What to bring: BYO keep cup and reusable water bottle etc. Closed-toed shoes. Sun protection.
