You are warmly invited to a free, in-person workshop entitled ‘Implementation science: what, why and how’ hosted by the Tasmanian Collaborative of Healthcare Improvement and facilitated by Dr Sharon Andrews (Associate Professor, School of Nursing, University of Tasmania) and Dr Pieter Van Dam (Associate Professor, School of Nursing, University of Tasmania). Associate Professor Andrews and Associate Professor Van Dam are leading researchers and educators in implementation science.

Who should attend?

The workshop is for Tasmanian health professionals, researchers, policy makers, advocates, and administrators interested in expanding their knowledge and skillset in implementation science, to support evidence-based practice in the Tasmanian health system. The workshops will provide practical tools to enable you to support the implementation of research evidence into policy and practice including collaboration, engagement, evaluation, implementation theory and behaviour change.

About the Collaboration

The Tasmanian Collaboration for Health Improvement (TCHI) is an emerging Research Translation Centre bringing together the Tasmanian Department of Health, Primary Health Tasmania, Health Consumers Tasmania, and The University of Tasmania for the benefit of improved health outcomes through translational health research.

TCHI strengthens and accelerates research impact by supporting Tasmanian clinicians, researchers, policy makers and consumers to collaborate, communicate and align research activities with Tasmania’s population needs.
