IMPOSTER : Progress Showing & Performance
Event description
Join artist Megan Rowland for an intimate performance event at The J Noosa, Upper Foyer Gallery.Â
This evening is part of the progress showing of IMPOSTER, an inter-disciplinary and ongoing enquiry into the constructed self. Your ticket includes a drink and a nibble.
IMPOSTER seeks radical beauty in the ordinary. Wonders if they are meant to be here and why? Â
This presentation of imposter considers;Â States of overwhelm and startle :Â Moments when the simplest things seem hard and it feels like life is unravelling :Â When stuff is thrown at you metaphorically and sometimes literally :Â When what seems sweet turns sour.
The showing takes the form of a multi-channel video installation, poster prints and one-off intimate performance event. It will be an informal evening of artful suggestions, good people and conversation, look forward to seeing you there.Â
