On-The-Spot Improv! - Years 7-9
Event description
There is nothing more exhilarating than standing on a stage and not knowing what’s about to happen next! Seriously. It’s an adrenaline rush! Join us for a week, as a specialised improv teaching artist takes you through the fundamentals of improvisation. Explore listening skills, character creation, building story and uncovering the truth of comedy. Students will work towards a long form improv showing, where scenes are weaved together cohesively to make a complete performance. We can’t wait to see it all unfold!
ATYP school holiday workshops encourage and engage young people from Kindergarten to Year 12. Participants will make new friends, learn about performing, gain confidence and most importantly have a ton of fun in a safe and inspiring environment.
