Initially developed in response to the requests of the community, the Research-Policy Translation Community of Practice aims to support collaborative partnerships and knowledge exchange between researchers, policy actors, and practitioners across South Australian and local sectors and disciplines.
Please join the Research-Policy Translation Community of Practice on the 26th of May from 1:30-4:30pm for this astute exploration into the world of knowledge exchange, boundary spanning, and building and managing trusted relationships.
The esteemed Dr Chris Cvitanovic has agreed to deliver a tailored talk about improving knowledge exchange at the interface of science, policy, and practice, building off his extensive and highly practical published work in the fields of knowledge exchange, stakeholder engagement, boundary spanning, and marine governance.
As a transdisciplinary marine scientist that has almost ten years of cross-discipline experience, his presentation will draw on his own experiences of working as a knowledge broker, as well as his research on environmental management, to explore and highlight conceptual knowledge in the field, and will delve into practical principles and advice.
