Improvisation Session: October

ABOUT

cFour Collective invites you to join us for an open contemporary dance Improvisation Session. Facilitated by Hannah, take time to explore movement and ideas in a warm and welcoming environment. 

This session is for everyone, at any stage of their dance journey. Beginners, students, recent graduates, professionals - let’s all come together and share the space. Our goal is to provide opportunities for movement and exploration. 

HOW MUCH?

Participation is by way of “pay as you feel” donation. cFour Collective seeks to make all our sessions accessible and inclusive. Cost should not be a barrier to participating in dance. If you’re feeling unsure about how much you should contribute, here is a little guide:

$5 - Things are a little tough right now, but I really want to share the space and join others for some dancing.

$10 - I’m doing alright, my budget is a little tight but I’m excited and ready to dance. 

$15 - I’m doing well and would love to share in this session with you at an accessible cost. 

$20 - Things are great! Thank you for offering this and I’m happy to support you. 

$25 - I’m feeling very fortunate and I’m wanting to support the Collective in these sessions and in future projects. Let’s dance! 

Any and all donations are welcome. Funds go towards covering the cost of studio hire and contribute to our future projects. Thank you for helping us make art! 

WHAT TO BRING

Please feel free to bring along a notebook so that you can take time to write down any thoughts that come up during or after our improvisation. 

Wear some comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. And don’t forget water - hydration is important! 

HOW TO GET HERE 

The studio is located at Melbourne Actors Guild - 137A Acland Street, St Kilda. It is located up the stairs. If lost, please message @cfourcollective on Instagram.

If travelling by public transport: the 96 or 16 tram will get you here. 

If travelling by car: there is free parking at the St Kilda Botanical Gardens, a short walk from Acland Street.
