9.30am - 12.30pm

Judith Wright Arts Centre

Improvisation encourages creativity, confidence, spontaneity and collaboration, helping performers strengthen their ability to think on their feet and respond in the moment. Exploring improvisation techniques allows theatre practitioners to refine their performance skills, embrace creative risks and build stronger connections with fellow performers.

Join experienced actor, theatre maker and NIDA educator Rebecca Alexander for this professional development masterclass, drawing on her 20+ years of experience in the performing arts industry. Through practical exercises and creative exploration, participants will build on their existing skills, explore new approaches to character and storytelling, and strengthen their confidence in making bold creative choices on stage.
