Join us to learn how targeted maintenance optimisation can improve performance, control costs, and build operational resilience in a complex manufacturing environment.

Located in regional Victoria, approximately two hours east of Melbourne, the OPAL Maryvale Mill plays a critical role in Australia’s packaging supply chain. Sourcing timber from the Latrobe Valley, the Mill produces brown paper used by other OPAL divisions to manufacture essential packaging products like cardboard boxes and paper bags.

In 2025, Maryvale embarked on a strategic project to optimise maintenance practices across the site. The initiative focuses on two key streams:
• Reducing and capping external spend
• Enhancing machine reliability and operational continuity

This presentation shares insights from the first six months of the journey, including:
•The methodology adopted
• Key findings and areas for improvement
• Actions taken to drive change
• Outcomes and benefits achieved to date
