IMRT Masterclass | VR for Safety and Technical Training with Next World
Event description
SIRF IMRt Common Interest Work Group (CIWG) - Online Event via Zoom
Virtual Reality for Safety and Technical Training
Providing Safety and Technical training for your staff is crucial to ensuring that you have a safe place of work.
However delivering this training can sometimes be difficult and time consuming. Their is also, in some cases, the requirement for refresher training to keep everyone up to speed and compliant.
With the advent of Virtual Reality (VR) this provides another opportunity to provide this training in a relative, visual, practical and interactive way.
Virtual Reality is computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment, such as a helmet with a screen inside or gloves fitted with sensors.
In this event Next World will present their solution to Safety and Technical Training using VR as well as CHEP will give their experience in implementing the Next World solution.
Next World
Next World is a Virtual Reality (VR) training ecosystem that has developed the world’s first VR Learning Management System (LMS) containing an extensive library of ready to go VR training. Their LMS is designed around the unique power of VR, combining game changing focus-tracking technology with immersive, memorable training realities.
With their platform, trainers and L&D professionals can easily identify knowledge gaps and trends across their organisation, and deploy scheduled training with ease. Importantly, our solution works out of the box, with best-in-class wireless VR hardware and user-friendly remote management. Organisations looking towards VR for improved safety outcomes can get setup and running with Next World in a matter of weeks!
CHEP at their Altona site repair and paint their wooden pallets. They have implemented the Next World VR system at this site will be presenting an overview of why they chose to investigate VR as a tool in our training system, as well as detailing the how they are rolling the trial out at their site and the initial feedback they have received from their team. Also detail how they potentially see VR becoming more influential in their training areas of the business.
Please join us to see how VR can assist you with your training needs.
We look forward to seeing you there.
