Speaker: Lu Diaz is a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum mix engineer and producer behind some of the most defining records in hip hop, pop, and Latin music. Known for his explosive mixes and crystal-clear vocal work, Lu has shaped the sound of chart-topping artists including DJ Khaled, Pitbull, Beyoncé, J Balvin, Trick Daddy, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Trina, and Drake.
Lu first broke onto the global stage as a producer and engineer for The Baha Men, earning a Grammy Award for their breakout hit “Who Let The Dogs Out?”, which went on to become one of the most recognizable anthems of the 2000s. He later co-founded The Diaz Brothers, becoming a cornerstone of the Miami sound that blended hip hop, reggaeton, and club culture into a new global aesthetic.
His mix credits include classics like “I’m On One” (Drake, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross), “All I Do Is Win”, “Hotel Room Service”, “Culo”, and “Move Shake Drop”—records that dominated airwaves and dancefloors around the world.
