Jaffles! Yes, we will be turning up the heat on the humble toastie at our next swap on Saturday the 17th of July at The Never Never Mind, Dorrigo.

Come and stuff your pie hole with a combination of homemade pickles and preserves and hang out with some awesome local people!

We will provide an assortment of sweet & savoury fillings for our toasties, breads, brioche & pastry, and side accompaniments. Ralf will be making Glühwein (mulled wine) to warm the cockles of your heart. Bring your bevy of choice, appetite and a smile.

There is a limit of 14 jar swaps on the day but there are 20 "Guest" tickets so you can bring along your +1, or just for others who are keen to see what all the fuss is about!

FAQ's

What can I bring to the event?

14 jars of one type of homemade pickle or preserve to swap, preferably of the same type so swappers get one of each
Please note that Kombucha and kefir are not included for swap
A few points to share about your experience preserving or the history of the recipe
If you would like to attend but don't want to swap, purchase a ticket under "Guest"

You will be issued with a number and you will need to mark your jars/ bottles with this number before the event.

This is a not-for-profit event but why is there a charge?

There is a contribution fee to offset catering costs, support this venue and also provide a fabulous lucky door prize.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

We need full commitment for this to work. If you are unable to attend please let us know asap so we can fill your place with someone who is able to attend, just so we can organise catering.

Refunds are only available up to 7 days before the event.

Please note : Guest’s participation in the swap and tasting is at guest’s own risk. Guest, on behalf of his/herself and /or any person or entity acting through or on behalf of guest, herby forever and unconditionally releases the organiser from any claims resulting from participation in the swap and tasting.
