Event description

Join artist Telly Tuita and Professor Jioji Ravulo for a conversation delving deep into Tuita’s practice. The conversation will consider the complexities of human and diasporic experience through Tuita’s own life story, captured in his current exhibition at Campbelltown Arts Centre, Tongpop’s Great Expectations.

Tuita and Ravulo will discuss Tuita’s unique visual language known as ‘Tongpop’; the way in which it reflects the artist’s experience of growing up and living across multiple worlds; and how others might connect with these coming-of-age experiences.

This talk will be AUSLAN interpreted.
