IN CONVERSATION: eX de Medici for International Women’s Day

Join artist eX de Medici and CMAG Senior Curator Virginia Rigney for a special in conversation event for International Women’s Day within our current exhibition eX de Medici Sidney Nolan - Guns and Flowers. Through her apparently beguiling and delicate watercolours, the works in the exhibition deal with the tragic but often still unseen issue of gendered violence. Canberra based, de Medici is one of Australia’s most acclaimed contemporary artists and the discussion promises to be a rare opportunity to both celebrate and reflect upon the power of art in speaking of and for women.
Talk will be followed by a light lunch to celebrate International Women’s Day
