    Event description

Join local author Val Clark in-conversation with local author/poet Poli Sansey and discover the stories of travel, immigration, family, friendship and two very different lives lived a world apart that inspired Poli’s poetry.

When Poli Sansey first sailed to Hydra to visit family, she got more than she bargained for. Mesmerised by the beauty of this legendary island, she walked all-day-every-day, determined to soak in every shade of Aegean blue before returning to drought-stricken Dubbo. But on the day of departure, she awoke to storms and wild seas.

In this interval, where no ferries dock to offer safe passage to airports, she met the scallywag artist with whom she shared the long creative correspondence which ignited her poetry and ultimately led to the book, Voice and Vision.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with the local author and explore her untold stories. Book your spot today!
