Description

Join us for an evening with Louise Jensen Duffy as she discusses her debut novel, Winifred Peters Is Not Sorry for Her Loss. Set in 1933, this warm and uplifting story follows Winifred Peters as she embraces an unexpected new chapter in her life, discovering friendship, adventure and new possibilities along the way. Hear from Louise about the inspiration behind the novel, its characters and setting, and her journey as an author. With strong connections to the Canberra region, Louise has lived in and around Queanbeyan for many years, including on a rural property between Bungendore and Braidwood. Come along for an evening of conversation, storytelling and a chance to hear from a local author about the story behind her debut novel.
