Description

Please join us at Harry Hartog Penrith on Tuesday 24 November at 6PM as we welcome author Maria Linwood to discuss the release of Mistress of Blood and Shadow.

This epic fantasy plunges into the depths of friendship, sacrifice and legacies that must be defied.

About the Book

Following a desperate escape from Osintèrlan, Tábalainthe and Larégitháen return to the darker world of Sàgilorc with Jágarún in their grasp. Yet the danger they fled was just the beginning.

As the creeping Gloom continues to consume Sàgilorc, Tábala must find a way to use the charred tree to stop it. Long-buried secrets left by Magikians of old threaten to shatter everything, and Tábala must defy legacies that were never meant to surface.

Old friends are there to help and new enemies enter the fray, but every step of her quest demands a cost. Tábala and her allies embark on a journey from which not everyone will return.

Faced with rising Gloom and a dark legend bound in blood, Tábala must decide what she is willing to sacrifice - and what it truly means to be the Mistress of the Ritual.
