In Conversation with Palestine: Dania Hawari
Event description
In Conversation with Palestine: Dania Hawari
Sunday July 13. 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Unassigned Gallery, Brunswick
Join us for a powerful conversation with Dania S. Hawari—a Palestinian woman, refugee, feminist, and legal advocate—speaking with the Made in Palestine team in real-time from the West Bank.
Together, we’ll explore the Occupation’s violations against women under international humanitarian law, with a focus on the experiences of Palestinian women in Israeli prisons. Dania will speak to the systemic violence faced by women and girls living under occupation, and share reflections from her legal and advocacy work on the ground.
This is not a one-way broadcast—it is a direct conversation, held across continents, between advocates committed to justice, care, and solidarity.
