The University of Adelaide Political and International Relations Association (PIRA) is proud to be hosting Senator Charlotte Walker for a moderated discussion.
Elected to the Senate in 2025 on her 21st birthday, Senator Walker made history as the youngest senator to be elected to Australian Parliament. Representing South Australia, she brings a perspective of young people today and is passionate about ensuring young people’s voices are heard.
In conversation, discover her vision for the future of young Australians. This event will provide an opportunity to hear directly from Senator Walker about her pathway into politics, her key policy priorities, and her personal parliamentary priorities with audience questions welcomed.
The event will be hosted on Tuesday 16 September 2025 from 6:00 pm in Napier G04 at the University of Adelaide (North Terrace Campus).
It is expected to be 60-90 minutes in duration, with opportunity for guests to put questions to Senator Walker.
