Meet Monica Beazley

Monica Beazley is an accomplished professional speaker, recently serving as the announcer at the football games at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Monica’s career spans over 20 years in events and corporate partnerships, during which she has worked across diverse industries, including local government, media, not-for-profit organizations, and professional sports. She played an integral role at Perth Glory Football Club, where she held the senior leadership position of General Manager, Commercial. Her experience in elite sports has deepened her understanding of high-performing organisations, teams, and individuals.

As a passionate leadership coach, Monica is dedicated to accelerating careers and advocating for gender equality. She is particularly committed to supporting female athletes in developing their off-field skills, including confidence, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Gaining Ground WA is a women-founded and led not-for-profit that uses the strength of its people to support and develop tailored mentorship programs and wellbeing workshops for women and girls in football. We’re women who are passionate about leadership, sport and mental wellbeing. From our workplaces to our sporting organisations our team have all experienced systemic inequity which has impacted our ability to bring our whole self to these spaces.
