Home truths: In Conversation with the Hon. Rose Jackson MLC

We need to face some “Home truths”. We’ve reached a crisis point for housing in Western Sydney. No longer the affordable urban fringe, the region now contends with soaring rental and mortgage costs. Intolerable wait times mean that social housing is no longer a reliable safety net for those who need it most. Community wide solutions are urgently needed.
The Centre for Western Sydney, in partnership with Western Sydney Community Forum and Evolve Housing is hosting an ‘In-Conversation’ event with The Hon. Rose Jackson MLC, Minister for Housing and Minister for Homelessness.
The Minister will discuss her vision for housing affordability in the region. The “Home Truths: The real housing story in Western Sydney” report will also be launched at the event. This report’s new data and cutting insights will be critical in addressing this crisis for, and with our region.
