Community Open Day: In Conversation with Wendy Morrow - The True History of Guide Dogs WA
Description
Community Open Day – In Conversation with Wendy Morrow
Step back through 75 years of Guide Dogs WA and hear the stories that shaped who we are today.
Join us for a special morning of history as part of Guide Dogs WA’s 75th Anniversary celebrations, centred around the remarkable firsthand stories of Wendy Morrow, one of Guide Dogs WA’s original Kennel Maids.
At the heart of the morning will be In Conversation with Wendy Morrow – The True History of Guide Dogs WA, led by EverAbility Group CEO Anna Presser. Wendy will share her memories and experiences from the early years of Guide Dogs WA, offering a rare personal insight into what life was like behind the scenes and how the organisation grew from its beginnings.
Wendy will be joined by volunteer archivists Debbie and Joy, who have helped uncover and preserve stories, photographs and memorabilia from across our 75-year history.
