It is a monthly, online session where we bring professional migrant women to share their experiences and insights into navigating the Australian professional landscape. Featuring a different guest from a different sector each month, you'll have the chance to learn from a variety of perspectives and industries.

We are excited to have Carolina Montoya, Marketing and Communication Advisor in the Education Sector.

A little bit about Carolina:

Carolina is a Marketing and Communications professional with over 10 years of experience, including working with one of Colombia’s leading banks. She’s been based in Australia since 2015 and currently work in the education sector at a well-known TAFE.

Carolina enjoys connecting with different audiences (internal and external stakeholders). Her experience includes content creation, campaigns, and community engagement. She's adaptable and resilient, and I’ve navigated career changes across countries and industries, including time working in retail, which helped me grow a lot. And she's passionate about simple, human communication that truly makes an impact.

About This Session

Event Flow:

We'll kick off with a warm welcome from our facilitator, followed by a quick round of 2-minute introductions from all participants.
Our guest speaker will then share their professional journey in a 15–20 minute style talk with the facilitator. This is a great moment to listen, reflect, and note any questions.
A 30-minute interactive Q&A will follow, where you can ask all your burning questions and gain valuable insights.

We encourage you to turn your cameras on to create a more dynamic and engaging conversation! The session will take place on Zoom, so make sure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet space.
