PLEASE READ BEFORE VISITING THE FARM

Green Connect farm is a working farm

There are risks associated with visiting the Green Connect farm that all visitors must be aware of. These risks include uneven terrain, slip/trip hazards, access to farm equipment and others. Visitors enter the site at their own risk and all children must be supervised whilst on site.

On our farm, we have pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, bees, wasps, the occasional snake and macadamia trees. Please notify us if you or anyone in your group is allergic and ensure you pack your EpiPen.

We have two composting toilets that all visitors are welcome to use. Please be aware that the facilities are very basic.

All workshop participants must:

Wear enclosed shoes or boots (no thongs or sandals please) and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Long pants are recommended.
Bring a hat and sunscreen or rain gear, depending on the weather forecast.
Bring a pen/pencil and paper if you wish to take notes.
Beekeeping workshop participants must wear light-coloured thick pants, such as jeans, and long sleeves. Don't wear black!

Getting here

The Green Connect Farm is located at 6 Anna Avenue, Warrawong. There is a small sign at the end of the driveway, but be aware that it can be hard to find! We recommend using a GPS if you have one. Please park on the street and walk in through the farm gate.

Please arrive 10 minutes early

Your workshop will take place in our education hub. When you arrive, walk through the bamboo fence on the right of the driveway, and come into the education hub from the right of the building. We will invite you to sign in, get settled and grab a cup of tea/coffee before we get started.

Weather notice

Rain or shine, the Green Connect farm is a wonderful place to visit. Please make sure to come prepared for the weather. We don't cancel events in wet weather unless there is a dangerous storm. Getting wet or muddy is all part of the fun!

COVID-19 Important Information

To ensure our visitors are safe while visiting the farm, we are consistently reviewing our COVID-safe procedures to ensure we are following all NSW Health and Government guidelines.

Please do not visit the Green Connect Farm if you’re unwell, have experienced cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days, or have returned from overseas in the last 14 days. If you need to postpone your visit due to illness, please let us know ASAP and we will refund or credit your ticket. All other cancellations are subject to our regular refund policy.

If we are required to cancel the workshop for any reason, all ticket-holders will be offered a full refund, credit or transfer to another event.
