In On The Act: Summer Theatre Camp (non-residential)

Orana Arts’ Not a Dress Rehearsal (NaDR) program for regional youth and ATYP (Australian Theatre for Young People) are partnering again this summer to offer young people of the Warrumbungle region and surrounds with an interest in the performing arts, In on the Act, a 5-day school holiday Non- residential camp at Coonabarabran High School from 8-12 January 2023.Â

In their own words, either using video (1-2 mins) or written submission (250-500 words), young people aged 12-17 will be required to tell us about:
- their interest in the performing arts;
- why they wish to be considered for the camp, and;
- how it might help further a career in the performing arts or life more generally.

A panel will review the applications and successful applicants will be notified by the 24 November.
Key dates are:
22 November: Applications close
24 November: Applicants notified
1 December: Registrations/camp info due to confirm place close
8 January: Camp begins
We’re talking with communities and individuals in the areas of Coonabarabran, Coolah, Baradine, Dunedoo, Mendooran and Binnaway but if there’s interest from other communities or individuals, please contact us for more information. We’d love to hear from you if you know of a young person in high school who would love to be involved in the performing arts, because we want to hear from them.
Places will be strictly limited for this free camp, fully subsidised by the NSW Government through Create NSW and Office for Regional Youth Holiday Break Program
