Event description

“We don’t laugh because we’re happy. We’re happy because we laugh.”

In a laughter yoga class we step out of the problems of the mind, raise our vibration and step into the unconditional joy of the present moment. Why wait to feel happy and joyful? When we can unlock that part of ourselves right now. As we vibrate at a higher frequency the world around us literally begins to transform as we tune into a new reality that will match our vibration.

If you wanna bring more creative energy and passion into your life and also gain the clarity, motivation and confidence to peruse your purpose and dreams.. Then this practice is for you!

Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise routine which combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing that brings you out of your head and into your body.

During the class we allow ourselves to laugh without relying on any humour, jokes or comedy. This is one of the most powerful and fun ways to access our true inner joy of the soul.

"If we want to live in a more joyful world we must tune into and vibrate at the frequency of joy!"

The Laughter is initially simulated as a voluntary physical exercise while maintaining eye contact with others in the group and promoting childlike playfulness, which soon leads to real involuntary and contagious laughter. Science has proved that the body cannot differentiate between simulated and real laughter.

Have you ever realized what we are doing while laughing? well, we are exhaling in huge amounts. Most of society are not exhaling enough. This massive exhalation process is amazing for our bodies to clear stale and stuck energy and to allow for huge amounts of new oxygen, "life-force" to enter expanding our lung capacity, activating our diaphragms and increasing our life span! "70% of toxins in the blood are removed through our exhalation"

When we laugh, smile and breath we are stimulating the "Vagus nerve", which is a nerve that plays an important role in activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Having a ”low vagal tone” means that the vagus nerve is impaired in its functioning, a well-known cause of "stress". This can lead to conditions such as anxiety, depression, gut problems, sleep disorders, inflammation and many health issues. Stimulating the vagus nerve can increase vagal tone, and thus have a significant positive effect on the functioning of your body and the quality of your life.

"90% of all health problems are due to stress"

Why not just go to a comedy show and laugh you may ask? well a very good comedian usually aims to make an audience laugh on average for 3 seconds every 30 seconds, which in 30 minutes accounts to (3minutes) of total laughter. In laughter yoga we are laughing for an average of (21minutes) in the span of 30 minutes time, which is 7 times more in the amount of laughter! So you would have to go and watch a very good comedian for at least 3.5 hours before you get the same amount of laughter in a 30minute laughter yoga class..

"When we embody the frequency of joy we tune into a new reality and will start to perceive more joy in the world around us."

"Laughter is the sound of joyful breathing"

What to expect:

Laughter - Involves a series of playful laughter exercises that reduce inhibitions and shyness using acting and visualization techniques that include stretching, chanting, clapping and body movements. These help to get you out of your head and break down inhibitions of the ego, so that you can express yourself freely and develop feelings of childlike playfulness.

Yogic Breathing - is a variety of deep breathing techniques designed to restore your oxygen and life force, giving you a rest in-between laughter exercises.

Meditation - the session finishes with a laughter meditation, where participants sit or lie down in shavasana and allow for natural laughter to flow from within effortlessly.
