Three actors, without imposing sets or lavish costumes, choose to stage the most famous of Verdi’s operas: La Traviata. They know that the undertaking is worth it, because what truly matters is the evocative power of theatre. What remains is the story of Violetta and Alfredo, the immortal arias, and the emotion that has always made this melodrama universal.
