In-Spiral Flow Movement and Dance

“In-Spiral Flow” is a meditative approach to somatic, embodied movement that will focus on the fine tuning of our presence and awareness by "listening and following" the inner impulses of our own bodies.

Gently releasing tension in the body through self-massage, guided breath explorations and the use of imagery will encourage a deeper awareness that can nurture and awaken our bodies’ own inherent wisdom; culminating in an organic free flow journey of movement and dance.

Developing our felt sense and presence allows us to discover our own unique and authentic movement language- to potentially experience a deeper connection with ourselves.

Discovering movement that nurtures and empowers us can encourage a uniquely personal way to explore dance as a source of freedom, self-discovery and creative expression. With sensitivity and awareness of ourselves and others, we will honor the “sacred space” that both holds us individually and connects us as a collective.

Christine Jaroszewski-Consani has had a lifelong career as a professional dancer and is a passionate explorer of embodied movement and dance practices. She spent 5 years living in India, where she taught and participated in several cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary activities with Indian and international dancers, actors and musicians- involving ballet and contemporary dance, contact/solo improvisation, Authentic Movement, Feldenkrais, and other somatic practices.
During her time in India, she met the founder of “Soul Motion” conscious dance, Vincent Arjuna Marti; following a workshop weekend of Soul Motion her love for conscious, embodied movement and dance deepened and awakened a new found freedom in dance.
More recently in Australia she continues the Soul Motion practice with Kate-Marie Mutsaers who continues to inspire and deepen her own offerings in dance.
She has been teaching the Gyrokinesis(R) method, dance and embodied movement to people young and old for the last 7 years in Fremantle.

Christine has developed her own personal approach to conscious movement and dance classes titled “In-Spiral Flow” Movement and Dance; her offerings have included “Embodied Essence“ workshops accompanied by live music with Sound Healer Julian Silburn and collaborations in embodied movement and dance with Dee Verran.
