Rowan fronted Melbourne bands, Macguffins and later Barefoot - with songs that have appeared in the Triple J Hottest 100 and ARIA Top 20 airplay charts - before moving to Hobart where he has produced a further six solo albums.

In 2020, New York indie label Cloudberry Records produced the 23-track - Macguffins Retrospective.

Rowan's new album - in the key of kintsugi - looks back and forwards - the 11-song album containing some reworks of past hits from both bands alongside 5 new titles, arguably some of Rowan's finest songs. The newly-arrived album will be available for purchase on the night.

Rowan's band includes Macguffins bandmate and bassplayer, Michael Paxton; local drumming legend, Casey Kostiuk; multi-instrumentalist, William Graddon, and singer and pianist, Natalie Alexander - playing the songs from in the key of kintsugi plus other audience favourites.
