In the Moment: Poetry and Spoken Word Workshop with Jacqui Malins

In this poetry and spoken word workshop with performance poet Jacqui Malins, you will:

• be led through guided writing exercises, to unpack a significant moment and capture it in the form of a poem;

• edit and shape your piece(s), with reading or performance in mind; and

• build the skills and confidence to read or perform your piece with impact!

Jacqui Malins is a multidisciplinary artist and poet, living and making on the lands of the Ngunawal and Ngambri people, in Canberra. She has created and performed poetry shows 'Matter of Life', 'Con/form', 'Words in Flight' and 'Cavorting with Time', and published her first full poetry collection 'F-Words' (Recent Work Press) in 2021.
