Did you know Women Illawarra's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service support about 4,000 women a year? Women Illawarra and Duck in Heaven invite you to a unique fund-raising event to help raise awareness for women's domestic violence court advocacy service and to meet some of the lovely ladies who dedicate their lives to helping others.
Get dressed up in 1920's Hong Kong style attire and join us on Friday April 19th, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm for an evening of music, dinner and mahjong. Music will be from Wong Ka Wei's movie "In the mood for love."
Bring a friend and support the non-for-profit that supports women and children in the Illawarra.
Tickets include a three course meal and a glass of bubbles on arrival.
Duck in Heaven is located in Woonona and will be cooking up the following menu our evening together;
Thai San Choi Bao
Delight in Duck in Heavens signature Thai style 'Laab" salad tossed in aromatic toasted rice and filled with fresh mint, cucumber and red onions in a spicy lime dressing served in a large uncut lettuce cup.
Oriental Tower of Dumplings to share
Layers of delicious scallop and prawn dumplings, beef xiao long bao, vegetarian spring rolls, 5 spiced apple mini pockets and vegetarian dumplings served with a selection of homemade sauces.
Traditional Peking Duck
The heavenly signature dish of Peking Duck served with thin pancakes (rice paper option available) with sliced cucumber
, shallots and Hoi Sin sauce.
