[POSTPONED] In The Zone - #FREEBRITNEY
Event description
POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE !!! WE WILL PARTY !!!!
I pay my respects to, and acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I work and perform, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, as well as their Elders past, present and emerging. I recognise their continuing connection to land, culture and art in so-called Sydney. In The Zone takes place on stolen land where sovereignty was never ceded, and the fight for racial justice continues every day. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

Get in losers, we’re celebrating community and upholding those most brutalised and marginalised by this broken system. We're drawing attention to others oppressed by the white cishet patriarchal system and media, with a line-up of entirely QTPOC performers.
This event follows Britney's first court appearance on June 23rd. The situation with her conservatorship and loss of personhood has opened up conversations about disability rights, human rights, the media, capitalism and blood-sucking Dads, sorry, *SNAKES.
Get yourselves ready for a well-deserved boogie, a killer show, and to lay some groundwork.
THIS EVENT WILL BE AUSLAN INTERPRETED AND THE VENUE IS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. PLEASE MESSAGE FOR ANY ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS.
